yesterday = bad day

Never take 2 kids at once to get shots.

It was horrible.

Parker got 4 shots and Weston got 1 flu shot.

Parker's stats:

He is a whopping 32.3 inches long

And a measly 21 lbs and 4 oz

I don't know what it is but this kid can out eat anyone and he is still just tall and skinny!

Quote of the day:

As Weston was hiding from the nurses trying to evade getting his flu shot he watched as they shot up Parker.

Weston screaming, "They are hurting my brother and now they want to poke me next!!"

Needless to say, we all left the office a little teary eyed. I will never go to the doctor and get shots in more than one kid at a time without Tyler there.

i made my husband take them last time. which was yesterday, too. i guess carson didn't cry. just whined. i, myself am squeamish around needles or just thinking about them, so it worked out great for me.

Sorry Andrea:( But hey, its over now right. Shots are never fun. And if it makes you feel any better Lilly eats more than Shea and just as much as I do, but she only weighs 22lbs. there just little things, but he's a stud so its okay:)

That is so true! Taking two kids to get shots is awful! You definately need a helper next time! That is such a cute pic of Parker and I love Weston's quote! Kids say the cutest things... even when they're scared!

Oh man that sounds horrible! Just thinking about it makes me want to cry! Why do they have to give so many dang shots in one sitting?! It is the worst, as a parent, to sit through. Because then they give you that pathetic look like, "Make the stop mom! Save me!" And we want so bad to be a hero and come to their defense but instead we calmly sit there!

Preach Sista Preach! Ha Ha. Yes, you are right... It is down right stupid of us to take two kids at once to get shots! Those are some of the worst days... seriously. Good Job for making it through :)

Here is an FYI...ask your pediatrician if they have "flu mist". Children over the age of 2 who do not have asthma can have flu mist instead of a flu shot. It is a nasal spray version of the flu vaccine so the kids don't have to get poked! I give it to all the kiddos that come through my office that qualify :)
